Are you staying in Eyre Sq or just basing everything from there?

Pubs in City centre with a bit if life we are staying out on Dublin Rd 5 mins by taxi from centre.

In that case it doesn't matter how close to Eyre sq you are then as you'll be getting cab back to hotel anyway. Monroes has everything 3 floors

Floor 1

Traditional big open wood fire/lots of locals from claddagh/mixed with tourists

Live bands

Floor 3

Loads of pubs around eyre square too.

Rabbittes, an pucan and Garvey's are good spots too.

Great thing about galway it's all walking distance.
