I was thinking on grass full side game. 30/40 mins a game the four provinces and any team short of players will be topped up from players from other provinces that have too many players.

it will be run on a mini league basis every team plays each other then 1st and 2nd play a grand final for the fab cup

well last time we had a cheerleading team, nurses, physios and a shit load of players interested so that's why the full match came into it

Yep Ive roped the lovely laid into co hosting with me, it won't be till April/May when the wether gets better as he general consensus was that grass pitch is better then an indoor match! But plans are afoot

If 50 say they'll play 25 will show up on the day.

5 a side easier as fitness isn't an issue there. An 11a side id obviously prefer but how it wouldn't suit everyone's fitness abilities.

Small sides short games more success/easier to partake in.

You could play it by air on day and put names in hat pick teams. Full astro good idea gives ya both options of two 5 a side pitches/1 full 11a side

Exactly, it's a bit of fun and not competitive (I say that now and I can almost see some lads getting very competitive!) but it's a different way for fabbers to get to know each other in a different setting to the normal pub scene
