Hey guys and girls topic wana see what people think about sleve tattos I am currently looking up designs for one at the minute just what's people views on tattoo where I work they have no problem with them.. but there is still people out there that judge you on them before they get too know you

I think a bit of ink is hot but it depends what it is. If it's un pc (ie racist/sexist/ homophobic or along those lines) then of course I'm going to judge you unfavourably . Otherwise, sure, what harm

Well some people look at my tattoos and assume I'm chavvy or that I'm not well spoken? Even my own brother has said that if he was on holidays and I came and sat on the next sun lounger he would move away cos I'm chavvy looking!!!! . So yes I can only imagine what some strangers may say... my old boss hated tattoos but didn't mind as long as they weren't all on show haha... I would like to eventually get a sleeve done as I think they can be very sexy looking and I find tattoos very attractive on others!!

Oh I have tattoos and a shaved head and when go in for fucking milk I'm followed by security. Of course you will be judged for getting one

The problem is, the tatto artists in Ireland only do the chav style, so thats what we all get.

I love tattoos so any type tattoo are fine by me but depend how quality They are. I dont like copy paste tattoos..but sure cant judge anyone and most important is that person is happy with them . I have 5 tattoos..and hate when some smart ass come up with question why I have that or start telling what he/she hear what that simbol/thing mean!I have my own reasons and meaning to my tattoos..so its annoying when people judge because of them..

Like most things in life... Personal preference! If your confident and happy in your choice - rock a sleeve and it will be hot. if you're happy who cares what other people think!

I have no tattoos myself but like em.

That they are old and have tats. I do not get you?

Are you referring to the fact that with long time those tats do not look so great, especially on an older person's skin?

Ageing is natural, so wouldn't have additional thoughts on an older person's tats just because of their age.

I love tattoos. I have 6, small ones on my shoulders, chest and on my back, I have both legs done below the knee to my ankle. Tattoos are personal. If you like and want them get them. Live life without regrets. Who gives a fuck if you look like a chav?... Thats just a person judging you without knowing you which says volumes about the perception of people and lack of acceptance. If people were all the same life would be shite. Piercings tattoos hair colour, hair style, baldness, who cares??? I'm going to get both arms done with sleeves hopefully soon... No really true. I know a guy in limerick who only does original tattoos so the tattoo you choose is unique. You think what you would like, put it on paper, then he takes that design and a few weeks later he gets back to you with freehand drawings of your updated design, you can then agree or disagree on the design, it takes time but the end outcome is you get a unique tattoo, he doesn't have any tattoo books for you to look at like most tattoo shops

When you ask them about the tattoos they see them fresh as day and remember when and where they got them and those moments in their life come back to them fresh.

Would people really not get them because they want to be good looking when they are older and think they look bad on old people?

Cause the tattooed old guy in the old folks home is probably the one getting all the pussy.

my dad has loads off tats,hes 70 yrs old and regrets every moment getting them done,im just saying how he feels about them

I got two sleeves, and can honestly say I have never been judged, or followed around etc in stores, even when I had my head shaved and a massive beard.

You get what you like OP, and don't let other people judge you for what you like or want

Cheers every one for leaving yere comments have 3 all ready.. Gonna go for a short sleve see how I feel with that then feel I can do the other half go for it plus tattoos on a girls are sexy.. With sleves on them even better
