Even if the pics and the profiles are attractive - you won't know how it's going to go until you're in close proximity. Something like 80% of communication is body language..the rest is all just surface level.

nope untill you meet the person in person your still painting your own image of them. You really need to meet them as said above other senses like smell, if a good kisser or not, are shorter/taller etc can't really tell on cam.

Misscar is right.. You have a preconceived idea of want some one is like even after you Skype.. But its not until you meet you really know .. Its all the the 1st touch. The smell. The kiss .. You don't get that from skype or chatting online

Smell is a HUGE thing. I have been friends with some beautiful women in my time but even those most beautiful of women are sometimes guilty of the worst b.o. crimes....

Agree 100%. There's people I've spoken to on Skype, decided to meet and when I have they've been total twats. There's others who I haven't been attracted to but met for coffee, and we've ended up with more than coffee. There's some things that you can't get from Skype!

i can only speak for myself but talking through a screen n communicating through cam/skype are fully different! U can speak and see them at once! See them live not a picture! I have seen people look way better in person then in pics! Pics are not the be all and end all! Then if there is no physical attraction there it saves u the journey! For me it all starts with a physical attraction
