Does anyone here do martial arts and if they do what type

Naas

First time I heard about this I thought a friend of mine was having some relationship issues and was getting counseling every week for it.

It's a sport, the OP might explain about the sport to save any confusion.

I hadn't heard of the term before but he had said on a few times that would like to be home for the marital arts.

I just assumed it was for some assistance with his marriage.

Was I wrong with that assumption.

So never ask him for self defense techniques, you could end up in an awkward hold!

I don't do martial arts but was shown by a group that were doing some kids thing where you do body movements while not using force. I can't think of the name. A lot of bouncers etc do that class.

I was shown how to protect myself if someone was going to try and slash my throat with a knife! Jeez I know but thats not gonna happen. Was interesting to be shown how to protect myself. I have a good left hook as well

I did something similar as part of my security course but if some one comes at you with a knife there's no way to guarantee you'll disarm them safely so you're thought to diffuse situations now by talking people down
