Is there a way to stop newbies looking at your profile? Or your pics?but open to vertified profiles? I'm hidding all my pics now since this is an all to familiar occurrence in here lately.this should be an idea for fab I think at the mo

Not from looking,only from contacting you,unless you block every individual newbie as they join the site

Yes you can block newbies contacting you but this only works for two weeks after that they are not considered new

Just have pics on your profile that will not be recognized as you

I've put my pics friend only, it's easy enough to out the fake profiles so dont let them on your friends list and you shouldn't have any problems

I'm pretty sure some web boffin could develop a script which wouldn't allow the 'right click' option to copy pictures on the site. Would be far better than blocking newbies.

I've nothing against newbies but the fact that some freak comes on..threatens on here steals pics and deletes profile and starts a new one is the only way to try and well.. Slow then down I think

That's been developed but there's software to take screenshots, and it's easy to take screenshots on smartphones too

Easy do but doesn't stop anyone getting them if they want them. Lots of other ways as well.

why is it that everybody else is a problem: newbies, time wasters, fakes, pic hunters......etc....

Set your own basic security in place....and get on with the fun. Dont expect too much from others but treat everyone like you would like to be treated yourself !

ok you clearly didn't read the thread. I'm not against newbies... It's with all the pic stealers and threats that have being goin on here and setting up New profiles that I just feel they have to be blocked from looking at pics on a profile while genuine profiles can still see... I trust no profile at the mo bar the ones I know from in here as a regular,, friends I have met and those who have met my meets. Just my pref at the mo with all the carry on with these fake cowboys.

It would put a huge dent in they're numbers but it would really cut out a lot of the bullshit profiles. Heard nothing back. Should at least be restrictions on browsing for unverified profiles.

I'm sorry but do you prefer to have fake profiles?? Everyone should at very least be photo verified before they can use the site and anyone who disagrees obviously has a hidden agenda.

I disagree with the arbitrary setting of rules which can block, obstruct or disadvantage others.....when you didn't have to negotiate your way through them.

I disagree with security police for 'others' especially if the new rules don't apply to all.

This is called pulling up the ladder.....

There is no reason everyone should not be at least photo verified unless you've something to hide... If you are who you say you are you have nothing to worry about. If your a fake wasting everyone's time then there should be security checks to make sure you can't waste people's time on the site
