replying 2 cougersbelfasts last reply on here ur right admin dnt give a shite ..i reported a a fake profile here yesterday that had my address on it ..reported it and same as you said .. blocked me frm seeing the profile wtfff where do i stand there im a paying member all im looking 4 is privacy all i got off admin was they jst blocked me frm looking at the the fake profile that was giving me abuse ...

if you're blocked from looking from a profile it's because of one of 3 things - you've blocked that profile, that profile has blocked you, or (as I guess is the case here), admin have suspended the profile.

The serious point being that people can post other people's personal details, on profiles and status updates and there is no way to get rid of them quickly and most likely, no repercussions for those doing it!!

Sadly the OP who started this post seems to have left obviously because of the not so good experience for which they were paying for as a site supporter did not get responded to in the manner that the site supporter felt it should.

But it seems to me unless you are going to shout and shout some more the people responsible for the day to day running of this site do not pay attention to the matters that concern other members, it seems they would rather spend their time banning people from forums and chat rooms at times for very little.

Yes I know the ADMINS most likely get tons of emails. But it is annoying when you provide people with unquestionable proof of something, it seems to be ADMINS attitude to block the two parties from seeing each others profile rather than dealing with the issue at hand.

The people who own this site want it to be better than any other, that's hardly going to happen if they ignore their supporters (who can take their money no matter how little it is elsewhere and we are sure they are still making a pretty penny) when they provide them with unquestionable proof that something is not what it should be.

This site may say it is a FREE site but it is a business and you should treat members paying or not as customers and it seems at time your customer services fails on so many levels.

Now lets see what happens, I will most likely get banned from the forums as a site supporter for having an opinion based on my experience to date, or will the owners or admins start to understand what customer service is and allow my opinion to be heard and shared?

Sadly no one can see the amount of work Admin do behind the scenes and as they don't shout about it there will always be people who think they do sod all.

If people see the message that they have been blocked from someone they miss the bit that says the person may be disabled by Admin and always assume that they are still on the site, they may not be.

For people posting personal information , Admin really do take this seriously, to hurry up that process of the report I think it would be wise to use the CONTACT button also for cases like that so Admin can get to it quicker.

I will paste onto the next post what Admin have said they do with reports, don't always assume nothing gets done

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

Admin

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
