What a stupid question that is... WTF?

My experience with people from the lifestyle is that they are good people and couldn't be arsed with others being from another country. This is absolutely irrelevant in playtime. It doesn't matter whether one was born Irish, Lithuanian, French, Polish or Nigerian. What matters is that people find each other attractive and all respect each other equally and respect the rules of the play.

The reason why I think it is a stupid question is that it suggest that place of birth makes you a better or worst human being. It is racist and as a foreigner in this lovely country I find it strongly offensive that some people would pay attention first to where I came from and only later to what kind of person I actually am.

I think it's an ignorant thread to be honest, people who haven't lived in other countries and being welcomed there have no idea what it's like for "foreigners" to live in this country.Yes there are cultural differences and that's interesting and in my opinion is an extra reason to want to meet someone.

I have some very good friends who are not native and are brought up a hell of a lot better and are much nicer than some of the stupid people who post on these forums.

The OP is not native irish himself, so how can his thread be offensive if he's asking the people of ireland if they'd be 'put off' by a 'foreigner', namely himself? He's just asking a question. My answer is no, it wouldn't put me off. I met my other half through fab and he isn't a native Irish man either.

Hey man - Yeah, I see. Well, I guess it's possible that you're going to get all different kinds of reactions. It's still hard to believe that there could be racists around but unfortunately, they are still very much present in our culture. I honestly and genuinely think that by far, most Irish people are welcoming and embracing of people from other countries - but sad to say, we still have a lot of progress to make. I hope you haven't had too many crappy situations anyway.

I have only looked at the opening comment

What a ridiculous post.

Why do u need other people approval to meet

" foreigners"?

You're a big boy now u don't need permission or approval to go off with any different nationality.

In my opinion and my own experience foreign men and women are more broad minded and make better bedroom partners

First of all I'm not Irish..

Second - nobody's asking of any permission.. It was just question to see what people thinks of foreign nationals..

And third: didn't mean to offence anyone here.. Sorry if it sounded like that..

"Cummin over taking our jobs and stealing our women.."

We're foreigners that are married to each other and from two different countries that have provided employment in this country for both Irish and non Irish employees and therefore find this comment to be utterly offensive and downright racist.

Time to take your head out of your own arse and smell the coffee instead of the guinness

He was joking........ he was satiring an unfortunate small-minded response that the thread may get. That obviously wasn't a genuine expression of his thoughts. Read it again in a lighter tone and see..........

Now for my serious, comment. I think few years back before Ireland actually became "the place to be" Irish were not used to foreign people, but I think they have come a long way now! yes there are still lots of Irish that would show some kinda racial discrimination towards people of other countries or races It is only a minority!

Now from the foreigner point of view as I am one even when I spent half my life here, I think exactly the same most of the are sound friendly and completely open minded, now saying that there are few bad apples like everywhere, I do not believe in going somewhere where is no your country and criticize the native of that country in many occasions I have heard foreigner complaining about Irish work style Irish intelligence, or the best one of all refusing to learn English!

If you go to a place that is not your home country you have to respect the people of that place you have to play by their rules you have to adopt their habits and customs because after all you are in their land full stop!

nothing like "where I come from" I am 100% sure most of us have heard that once or twice in our life time, point being no one give a shit where you from you are here now! bring the guest to your house and he starts making rules for you in your home surely that wouldnt be nice!

All and all is all about mutual respect no matter where you are from or what colour of skin you have or what religion you believe in. none of this should matter and remember that no matter where you go there is always people that will try to spoil it for others! Rant over let's get back to swinging

with the faries

As I have said numerous times on the forums, posts can be read wrong just by the frame of mind you are in. I don't think the OP ment any offence he was mearly asking a question. And as stated we are all individuals with different tastes so each to their own.

I don't see what's satirical, offence or trolling about the OP.

Some people will be put off by height, weight, hair colour. Others by nationality.

I don't see that as racist, just people's preference about who they want to fuck.

The subsequent post 'Cummin over taking our jobs and stealing our women..' was taken by others as being offensive against immigrants. It's this post that was seen as being offensive and trolling.

I was only referring to this post as being said as a joke, not as a genuine expression of the poster's opinion. I wasn't commenting on the original post being satirical at all.

"What a stupid question that is...

Wow.. Go easy man! It's just a question.. And if it's stupid - jog on and answer to smart ones only..

Peace

"

It's not just a question! That's all I'm saying. And no I've no problem with Irish people only with people in general that are small minded
