Never swallowed the bar at the wrong time, I'll just be yapping away or eating and bam it's gone lol

I have mine now 6 months and Yes it has added a new string to my bow.. Lol my partner has his done and all I can say is once you have experienced a tongue piercing there is no going back.

Got mine pierced over the summer when I was abroad , absolutely love it can't believe didn't do it sooner..

Also I hear you can get vibrating tips for them now anyone else seen them?

Yes iv seen them..but haven't purchased it's on line you can get them.they look pretty cool lol
