Naas

How many of you Faber's will be working on Christmas day? Just found out I'll be having my Turkey in Turkey.

There must be many of you that work in emergency services or public services that have to make the same sacrifice

Thankfully I don't, but I know few that do work in such services and I am very grateful for their work.

You should try working 24hr shift through Xmas day, no extra pay!

Yep, no rest for the wicked I'm quite used to it and it's never bothered me really, as being single with no rug rats Christmas is just another day (sad but true) Still, I get some time off in the new year and can go out and have some fun while everyone else goes back to work. (bit of a mixed bag that one)

I'll often put an hour or 2 in on Christmas day. Farmers can't choose not to milk animals on Christmas day, which means milk keeps rolling in, and my business processes milk. Shouldn't take me long though.

In and around

Mr Duo will be away working over Xmas and New year this year again, so I'll be ignoring the season of good will until he gets home in the New year. Baa humbug, it's no fun on your own! Mrs D
