I've never been a religious person, but I have great admiration for people with such strong faith.

Personally I love to go to mediums etc, it's nice to feel like someone is looking out for you

Where do you pull personal strength from when times are tough?

I usually pull up distant memories of parents who coped with much worse than anything I've had to go through, and managed to keep the chin up regardless. Tá siad imithe anois

I usually pull up distant memories of parents who coped with much worse than anything I've had to go through, and managed to keep the chin up regardless. Tá siad imithe anois

I do look at people in worse situations and try and feel grateful for the fact what ever it is Im going through isn't a patch on them, but I end up feeling guilty and ungrateful then for all the good in my life!

I know my parents are watching over me, I know they are listening to me when I talk to them at their graveside! They let their presence be known to me and it makes me smile, makes my day it does!

I find when times are tough its my young one gets me through everything. Shes the reason I fought through illness for my job, get up every morning and even when im down a simple cuddle makes me better.

My nephew, he's 5, only lives 2 miles away from me, I love him to bits, there's nobody else I love more in my family, he's what's making me want to live my life to the best of my ability as life's too short!!

I've always been happy with my lot, apart from money and sex, and the financial issues have only arisen since the recession kicked my business in the hole. I don't think anyone knows what anyone else is really going through as so many problems are relative. I recall an acquaintance of mine, of who's life I was secretly envious, who took his own life because he was so disappointed with his lot. It's a strange world. I also hate people saying things like "chin up, it could be so much worse" Grrrrrrrrr!

Me and my kids have been through a very very tough time when they lost their dad , my hubby , a few yrs ago , i dont know how but i think i just put up a wall so nothing could get me down as i had to be strong for kids as they needed me more than ever , i grew a thick skin since then and just shut anything that gets me down now so i just let pass over me not into me if that makes sence

i do get sum bad days every now and again as i also have to be myself but dont do it when kids are around , life can be hard at times but we just have to pull through it

I think everyone has had tough times,if it's losing a loved one or money problems,this year alone I lost one of my best friends,and a family member,It broke my heart and i was in a bad head place too,I always worry at the end of a new year and the beginning of a new one as to what that new year will bring,but I thank God for my Kids...without them I'd be lost

My town

I don't really have religious faith after my mother's passing for her to be giving the all clear from cancer to dying 7 months later how could god be so cruel to give false hope. So my religious faith went out the window.

I did go to medium after her passing and call me naive but I got great comfort from it. I have amazing friends and my relationship with my father has improved more as we much closer to each other. My children give me great strength too, they don't realise the comfort they give me but even then smallest things they do I get comfort from them.

I'm not a very spiritual person at all and I'm not a believer really in mediums etc.

I do think though that whatever might give you comfort can only be good.

Ive never been a fan of religion nor has Ms.innocent. If times are hard and lord knows plenty of people have had hard times the last few years I think of my three year old daughter or Ms.innocent and think you know what they make whatever hard times I'm going through bearable for the simple fact I have them and that's all that matters to me.

Miss Lolli all i have to do is think off a very youmg relative of mine who passed away 7 years ago after a long battle with an awful disease ..... he fought long and very hard and went through such an awful time and i can tell u not once did he complain ..... not once did he give up ...... left me a very humble person i can tell ya .... nothing in life is ever that bad hun xxx

I have to agree, the Ten Commandments as a moral compass isn't a bad thing, but religion in my eyes is just a modern day cult

I tend to get depressed for a while, moan and whinge and then some day I just get up and get on with things.

I'm not great at coping I think. But friends and family really help when things get tough.
