Cork pub /club suggestions

We are going to Head out for few Xmas drinks in couple of weeks

Any suggestions for

Looking for pub which won't be mobbed nor won't be just us in it maybe live band or something

Open to going to club for a dance as long as it ain't cattle Mart or we don't feel like two old people there

Probably be Sunday or Monday of Xmas week

City Centre

Hi guys, On a Sunday or Monday night your best bets are probably Reardens on Washington Street, Oliver Plunkett Bar on Oliver Plunkett Street or the Crane Lane just behind the GPO on Oliver Plunkett Street. Hope you have some fun.

I think you might have very little hope to find a bar that is not full with drinkers and partiers that week..... If you willing to travel out of the city...I mean far out... Where even the women don't even shave their beards... And to get back to the city...I'm sure that after 20 of the locals pack into your car one is bound to know a quicker way to the city...

Crane Lane is always a good craic. Live music and good crowd. It is a large venue (as for Cork). Loads of dark corners.
