Ok so a song by my idol popped up on a thread earlier and it got me thinking everyone should have one. Someone to aspire too and I reckon with the diversity of Fabbers, this could throw up some interesting people and also give an insight into members personalities without giving out personal details.

It goes without saying most people look up to their parents/family etc but I'm looking for people others can relate too.

I'll go first and say Jim Morrison, he was a cool fucker who just wanted to enjoy life, made great music and basically didn't give a fuck. Ultimately he died by the sword he lived but I'm sure he had no regrets.

RIP the lizard king

I wouldn't have an idol as such but do admire quite a lot of people. Chris Hadfield the Canadian astronaut I have huge admiration for. If anyone gets the chance they should read his book! He had a dream and made it happen!

Phil Lynnot

Despite the hard upbringing he had and all the challenges he faced in life, he never let it hold him back and he grew into one of the finest musicians ever.

His songwriting was out of this world and his poetry was just breathtaking. His music ability outstanding.

He was born in England but considered himself Irish and his music and poetry reflected his passionate grà for this country which I just love.

He has been my idol since before I was born and will be for forever. I have a love and utmost respect for him like I do no other

Alex Ferguson for me, a pure winner!! I know he a bit of a sour bugger and very ruthless but everything he did was for the greater good of the whole. Passion, drive and that huge will to win overpowering everything else, had to be infectious .. From a musical point of view it has to be Mark Knopfler for me, the guy is just so talented. So many really amazing guitarists down through the years but no one comes close to him in my opinion. A modern day Mozart, so much beauty in his music!!

I'm going with Rob Nesta marley (Bob marley).

He has the most inspirational music iv ever had the pleasure to listen to.

He has made people stand up an fight for there rights. For a music legend that lived 36 short yrs he is my no 1. His music is phenomenal. .hard to pick a favorite but il go with

3 little birds.."don't worry about a thing cos every little thing is gonna be all right"

Legend
