I grew up with a Czech/East German 3 part series based on Cinderella, filmed in 1973 (obviously an excellent year). It's called 3 wishes for Cinderella. It's shown back home every Christmas and it's so sweet! I still get excited when I get to watch it.

Elf! Has to be the funniest Christmas movie of all time! The Wizard of Oz is also a good Xmas movie! Although not necessarily about Xmas I always think of Xmas when I watch it as it always seemed to be on TV around that time when I was a boy.

Sitting on Christmas eve fire lite lights off just the tree lights on watching White Christmas, I was brought up on musicals, Christmas day will always be the vicar of dibley day but Mrs Brown has taken over that slot now.

My big sister told me she was going to watch its a wonderful life last year for the first she was 45 I said ok, I have seen it a few times lol, she phoned me up after it had finished and ranted for an hour about how depressing it was and said she would never get that time back in her life lol
