Just seen a beautiful news clip of a 2 year old boy who was born deaf but after cochlear implants, heard his parents voice for the first time...

Saw a documentary about a deaf couple in their eighties who got implants and could hear for the first time

she loved her new world and he couldn't handle it, turned it off and they grew apart,was very sad

different for a baby tho.good news

I cried watching the news yesterday at that story. The woman who helped her is a hero and you could see how affected she was. It was heart warming. That woman and her baby are so unbelievably lucky

Yep, that's good news about the child. As for the woman in labour, well sure she's a woman, sure she'd probably have crashed into the roundabout anyway
