Axe as the weapon no ammo issues, allows for decapitation and can also be used to source wood for fires and building things. Then head for the country side away from mass population areas

I would pick a "Naga Dao", a Dao is an axe sword. The Naga were a head hunting tribe.

Its basically a sword that flattens out like an axe at the top. It's evolved to be a perfect beheading device. Perfect for zombies.

I'd go to the mint in Sandyford. Unlike a prison which was designed to keep people in, a mint is designed to keep people out. Either there or Dundrum mental hospital, mighty fine wall around that place.

You'd be better off to hide in your attic(with supplies of course) till the chaos subsides and then head toward the country that way at least you won't get stuck in traffic or get trampled by the panicking masses
