So what are you having for the big feed on christmas. . . A turkey. . A goose. . A duck. . Maybe a pheasant. . . Any other ideas. . .

. . . Ya i saw something like that in an aldi or tesco leaflet but it had five . . I think a goose and some other as well. . All in a roll. . .not sure it would taste great though. . .

there won't be a bird for xmas where I will be but I think pheasant is a really great alternative. It's more gamey which I love.

Definitely won't be pheasant i can tell you

lectured my kids on trying different foods while buying a pheasant,fuckin unbelievably horrible smell when cooking,nasty.and didn't taste any better.like id imagine crow tastes like

well I've had it only once and it was cooked by a French lady who probably knew how to cook it. lol Her husband even hunted it himself!

Mam always does turkey, tried bringing goose one year but the general consensus was "bring Dustin back".

pheasant is great we used ti have pheasants and venison but it would depend on if we shot any. iv not killed an animal in years so it will just be turkey and ham for me this year

It will be a big plate of vegetables for me with stuffing and gravy done separately for me by my mommy! Yay!! Can't wait.. followed by a cheese course from Sheridan and plum pudding with brandy butter

I went shooting pheasant years back . . . . The shooting was the easy bit . . Then you got to pluck and take out all the shot then gut it . . . And you haven't even got to the smelly part of hanging it and cooking . . . I have changed my ways since. . . That and the opening of a local chip shop 17 miles away. . . .
