Have you ever been put off someone by who they have met?

Like if you saw someone had a verification from someone, or knew that they had met, would it make you think twice about contacting /meeting that person?

no it wouldn't as we always like to judge people for ourselves when we would meet, and what happens between others is non of our buisness. thats the way we view things anyway.

I would give it some consideration, but ultimately form my own opinion.

I take a lot into consideration when thinking about meeting someone, and yes it can be a factor for me, depending on the reasons I have for having reservations.

As above... it would make me think harder dependent on the reason I had qualms about the person they had met and the type of meet... But ultimately I would make my own decision based on my own interaction chatting with someone

When i joined here, just over a year ago, certain people contacted me to 'warn' me about others, but i chose to make my own mind up. I've been very lucky, i've liked everyone i met, i've even loved a few of them

I generally ignore these kind of mails, apart from any that indicate that my safety could be compromised

I took note, made sure someone knew where i was and could get to me if necessary and went with my gut. It's stood me well till now, i have no reason to doubt it

I think if someone is going out of their way to contact others about fabbers, unless its to do with them being crazy stalking psychos, in which case they should be going to the police first, then I would say they really have too much time on their hands. I've had stories come back to me in the past about ones mailing people telling them not to meet me, but even at that I just thought, what a pair of saddos and let them get on with it.

Yea I ruled out a few people cause they met one person in a very short amount of time. They could have easily caught something and I preferred not to risk my own health.

wow! !! Never had that ever .Unless it's warning me about someone that's a threat or dodgy and from someone I know know is worthy of trust I can only think that is really spiteful .... How childish

One of the people who warned me about a particular person mailed others too, and went on to warn me about how many people on here don't practice safe sex and tried to stop me meeting certain people. That's one of the reasons my veris and friends list is hidden. Hopefully it goes without saying that i've always insisted on condoms and have had checkups to keep myself and others safe
