Fake profiles ?

Anyone finding a increase in fake profiles since the last news paper report about the cork M&G ?

Im finding a sea of women and couples that are sending off alarm bells when I chat to them !

I have noticed a considerable increase in the number of new profiles messaging in the last while and when I go back to the messages it seems that the user has left the site for a lot of them.

Fake profiles...... Maybe. Or maybe we have just attracted a lot of attention and some people joining just to see what it's all about?!?

Either way gut feelings on these things will continue to guide us along

I think you can out a lot of fakes by checking are they photo verified and have they a pic or two . . . Anyone serious should be able to do this in first few days after joining . . and you can always use the message filters. .

ask if they can chat on the phone. i did that today with a profile that i thought might be fake and it worked out great. i got chatting to a lovely lady on the other end that cleared up the question marks.

Its full of either messers or fakes and did not take M & G or newspaper for that.

Hopefully these additional members will be more genuine bunch.

That said some great fun ppl here 2 glad to say

Got one 2day.and she only joined so i wasent saying much 2 her.she was from kerry and was asking silly questions so i was silly back 2 her. Every time she asked a question i went. Who. What. Where.when. How. Aeter a while she was gone of the site.jurt b on ur gaurd

Just filter out newbies and/or unverified members from mailing you. It'll elimate some of the fakes
