Is dogging a thing of the past, you never hear much about it anymore, especially around the louth area.

I'm guessing the less you hear about it the better....... Given the nature of it people aren't likely to be advertising it too much.

No it's not a silly question at all I'm just not sure that anyone will be able to give you an answer here.

The forums can be accessed by anyone as they are public.

Perhaps use the search function on here to locate fabbers in your area and see if dogging is in their interests and maybe send a private message to them? Just an idea

The well known areas are just that, well known....so you get the "casual doggers" heading there....those who heard about it in the pub....those areas attract the same guys that are the bane of many womens lives on here....except that instead of giving them abuse that they wont meet, they follow them as they leave the dogging area! (yes, these are stories i've heard)

Proper dogging is arranged in private and not usually done in the usual spots. As advised, find like minded people and arrange it yourselves.

Spot on, Dogging was popularised, sensationalised and ultimately killed by the Internet. Any well known spot, is now plagued by nosey parkers and boyracers. In the old days, of word of mouth, some of those places were awesome but they've had their day. Safe Dogging now, has gone underground and is almost exclusively arranged by word of mouth again but due to the lack of safe locations, is on a vastly reduced scale, to say 10 years ago?? Shame really, they were really good days

In most cases, dogging just doesn't happen spontaneously. It usually organised in advance and in locations that aren't the usual sites.

It can be great, safe fun if organised properly.
