Kale "crisps"

Sorry in advance, as this has nothing to do with swinging but I need to get this off my enormous chest.

I read dried kale is the new best healthy alternative to crisps and that it's tasty. I love veggies and I'm all about trying new things.

OMG. I bought this really expensive pack of Kale Crunchies with spicy tomato and sunflower seeds.

What a fool I was. This stuff is just like paper with a bit of chilli on it. Maybe I should dip it in garlic mayo?? lol

Do you have any tasty healthy snacks you could recommend? Something out of the ordinary? Or have you tried kale crisps and think they are delicous?

The kale crisps are a money racket, the amount of sugar in these products are ridiculous ( hidden sugars) kale is fantastic for you but when it's prepared by you.... Try it in a juice with with some pineapple and carrot sounds disgusting but a great way to start the day xx

I love crisps and I make my own kale crisps and they're hands down my favourite snack. Cut the white stalk out of the kale leaf, coat each leaf lightly with olive oil making sure each leaf has a complete covering. Season with salt, chilli, bbq rub or any flavour you like and pop in oven at 160 for 10 mins. When they are crisp put a little lemon juice on and serve. Great for sharing and actually cheaper than several bags of crisps
