Nice one. . Don't listen to any dumb advice. Just have your normal breakfast. . Assuming it's not a fag and a shot of jim beam ! Drink lots of water on the way round. . And book the next week off work ! You'll be walking like a zombie in 24 hrs . Ha

Hope it's a night shift involving not moving at all. . Ha ! If you get chance at the end. . Grab a massage and drink a stack of water. It'll help you get rid of the lactic acid

It takes about 6 months or so to train for a marathon, so next year would be a good target. Loads of good training plans available on the web. Just make sure you get good runners that fit properly. Most sports stores will help you pick the right pair, check your gait, etc.

Congrats on your achievement so far, the marathon is mostly willpower and you seem to have that in spades.

Best of luck to anyone running tomorrow. All legends! It's an amazing feeling when you finish and enjoy a well earned pint after!

Well that was well worth it. Shattered and broken but alive and having a bottle of beer. Happy with the time of 4:40.
