I went into a shopping center and I had to wait for someone. So I stood around to wait.

This Chinese girl was handing out fliers. She didn't have glint in her eye, or look kinky, and was plain and ordinary.

She was smiling and holding out the fliers and people were ignoring her. It was an honest smile, she was happy.

So I watched her be happy as people ignored her, running up to people ad getting ignored and it not phasing her. I was thinking about all the reasons she might be happy.

Maybe she was happy to have a job, maybe it was her company she was starting, maybe helping a friend.

Eventually the person I was waiting for turned up and I went on my way.

I think about that Chinnese girl all the time. I should have asked her to marry me. If she could be happy doing that, then maybe she could be happy with me.

I never seen her again.
