I meant by the term 'happy ending' that it doesn't end with the crime solved and sorted I.e. justice, not literally a happy ending.

A Walk Among the Tombstones, this has Liam Neeson in it, is really a very good and serious movie, based on an excellent book. Gone Girl looks good as does Fury. Also cannot wait to see The Drop, with Tom Hardy and James Gandolfini, looks really good.
