For any of you who are swinging years, long before online sites. Like us we are it this since we met years and years ago. We used to swing through using the good oul reliable buy and sell and good old fashioned out and pick someone up. Have to say miss that type of swinging, it was a lot more discrete, less emphasis on verification's and crude ones in some cases. Now I know through reading the forums I probably will get attached for writing this but anyone agree?

I'm sure you can still swing the 'old fashioned' way. It does sound quite exciting that way.

How did you pick up people on a night out? What did you say to them?

Himself is not shy at all he does the chatting to people. We head to Galway for a night out and start chatting to people. More often than not we end up going up with extras. It is actually a very exciting way.

We have only been in the lifestyle 3 years so can't comment mores the pity....but a cpl we meet from time to time have told us about the buy and sell adverts they said it would be worded like a invitation to dinner.... And was more for more for cpls not singles looking to hook up

Yes down the back was always couples we met that way.

Yep...in my 20's is when I fist gave swinging a go, just as online became popular. Never used buy and sell. There was one free site that had a chatroom that had tons of time waters but you found the odd genuine person/couple. You'd move the chat to MSN or yahoo messenger to make final arrangements and then meet in person.

Got a few great meets out of it, but sadly lost touch over the years. I wonder where they are now and if they're still swinging....

Remember the days of the MSN chat rooms myself, think they were called grapevine or something like that. Had many a great meet until they were closed down
