Well, isn't this just a whole bag of fish or what !!!

Cmon, lads ( and girls ), you know you wanna.. but.. if your gonna name a player you have to give a short descrition of why you rate them so highly...

can be anyone new or old.. but, give reasons why !!

Im gonna have to say the best footballer I would rate would probably have to be Kenny Dalglish

most probably for his never say die attitude towards any game.. always giving 100%, always picking amazing passes out for other players, for scoring magnificent goals.. and just for pure leadership on the field.

im going to name a few other players I think fit into this bracket... paul scholes, john terry, norman whiteside, roy keane.. theres a lot.. but my vote would have to go to Kenny D

Zinedine Zidane

The man was just a pure footballing genius , world player of the year 3 times he seemed just to float about the pitch always in the right place to give and receive the important pass a fantastic finisher and also hard as fuck. His winner in the 2002 champions league final was an absolute joy

I firmly believe its harder now to really stand out with the fitnesses of opposing players and the tactical awareness of teams. I think Messi is the best technically gifted player ever alongside Zidane. They both have an unbelievable level of ability. Ronaldo is a specimen of athleticism but the other 2 are for me, unbelievable

Never actually saw George Best play but was talking to some older United fans the other day and they all agreed Duncan Edwards was a better player obviously I never saw him either but was interesting getting the opinions of men who had watched them both.

Edwards had the potential to be one of the world greats, unfortunately he died in the Munich air disaster in 1958,so we will never know just how good he could have been.
