"I tried to set it to ask password every time open but it still opens " If you go into delete history it will ask you to tick a box to delete all passwords too. Do this and then don't click on the box to "keep logged in" when logging in

"If you don't log out properly from fab no matter if you 'x' out of it , it will always open automatically .. no password needed!!! A design flaw of the site and particularly the mobile version.. So word of advice fellow fabbers always logout properly when exiting from fab when you know others have access to your devices ![]() I never log out but don't you have to tick a box to 'stay logged in' when you first enter? That's a recipe for disaster, letting ANYONE have access to your swinging ectronic devices.

"Already PM'd the OP but if anyone needs to clear their devices then follow these instructions and your system will always be clean as long as you do it every time you log off the site. Its a simple fix, if your using chrome at the top right hand side of your page click on the 3 horizontal lines, on the page that opens, click on history and then click on clear browsing data, this will open another window, at the top of this new window change the tab setting to obliterate the following items, from the beginning of time, put a tick in every other box and then click on clear browsing data at the bottom, when that has finished after a few seconds, scroll to the bottom of the page you are in and at the bottom, click on reset browser settings, this will open another window, click on reset, this will return your system back to its original clean state and when you next open your browser it will open to your home page, ie, Google MSN or whatever you have your home page set to. Stay safe and happy swinging. " ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

"I did find out recently that if you use wifi ANYWHERE, the owner of the router can see who logged on & what sites they visited.... " Absolutely... If they are savvy enough they can also sniff out userids and passwords from unencrypted websites..

"We have 2 computers a tablet and our phones. Got a shock when my son's dad ask why I was on his tablet on fab. Naturally I was irate. But just now it came up on family computer logged in no password needed and neither of us ever opened it in any of these. Any help to remedy greatly appreciated. As we are gutted and frustrated. I mean who the fuck else has access now to it ![]() ![]() if you're two devices are attached tow the same Wi-Fi however turns on either of them can see all the history I'm afraid it happened to me as well at work my staff was able to see everything I was looking at and I was morto ![]()

" Absolutely... If they are savvy enough they can also sniff out userids and passwords from unencrypted websites.. " Oh so true... the log in for fab isn't over ssl so all the details are clear text, or a base64 encoded version, when you login. So yes someone on the network, you don't really need access to the router, can with very little effort and the right knowledge get your username/password. Over SSL as long as they are running the patched versions they are harder get but it is possible! We always use the in private/in congnito modes just to make sure we don't leave tab in the history/cache/cookies or end up with details synced across devices. If you use Chrome its even more important in case you managed to install an extension that is not above board(they are out there). As in private will disable all the extensions also. The big one is even if where you work has a WiFi network for your personal devices everything is logged. So kik, viber, whatsapp etc will all be running over their network and can be monitored. This is less about your employer getting your password and more about them seeing things you would prefer them not to. Also some handsets can use your laptops/pc's network when connected via USB when you are charging.

Whether your model of router will do it or not I'm not sure as eircom have lots of models.

" So I have an eircom wifi I can look and see what sites have been visited even after browsing history deleted ? " Yes, deleting your history or in private modes are only a local operation. Any routers or proxies are completely separate and can hold a copy of all requests made and what IP/MAC address made it.

"Very interesting tread how does the owner of house with WiFi in it see wat you been on ![]() I'd be interested in finding that out as well. Could they do it by accident or would they have to go searching for it? I would imagine it would take some dedication.

"Very interesting tread how does the owner of house with WiFi in it see wat you been on ![]() I'd regularly go into the configuration page to change the network name and password but I've never noticed a way of rummaging through the history. Having said that, I never looked for one but I would love to know what to look for. Maybe I'll have a look tonight.

"I could be wrong.. But if you are using Google chrome on all the devices and you are logged in to your google account on all devices then the saved passwords are synced between the devices." this is more then likely the explanation. everyone should have their *own* logon on shared computers - but you cant do that when sharing tablets, so be advised.

"Very interesting tread how does the owner of house with WiFi in it see wat you been on ![]() as mentioned above, some routers make this data easier to view than others. It does require some digging around and if you are concerned for your privacy, put a good password on the router admin page as well as a wifi. if you have a shared PC or laptop, even with password protected logon, its fairly easy to by-pass that security and have access to most of the data, including browser history and in some cases passwords; if you don't trust the person sharing your device, don't share it! this applies to all privacy online, not just to personal activities. ![]() ![]()

"Very interesting tread how does the owner of house with WiFi in it see wat you been on ![]() You'll be looking for a section called 'logs' under your router config, 'attached devices' is where you figure out if it's your device that was connecting.

"As has been stated already google chrome is the culprit. Chrome is great for normal browsing but as you have now realised it can catch you out if you are using it on multiple devices and are signed in on them. Download the TOR browser and you won't have these worries in future. " I've just started using the Orbot app, it has a few bugs but I likey.
