Only thing that's really going to work is solpadine and lots of it.

Natural remedies are Clive oil on a cotton bud around the tooth if you have some or a Clove of garlic slightly crushed so it's just cracked, then place it in the gum beside the tooth. Both are natural anaesthetics but to be honest you can't beat good old fashion drugs (solpadine)

I got a tooth ache Christmas Day two years ago. Had to wait ages to see the dentist, it was a nightmare!!! I feel your pain mate , hope you feel better soon.

What's a "dry socket"? I'm presuming it's not something that ky jelly can help with?

Get some soluble dispprin or similiar and put four or five into a small 7 up bottle. . . Take sips now and again and swirl around like mouth wash before swallowing . . You will get a day or two out of it. . . Best of luck

Tear open a used teabag, squeeze the tea into a plug, then fit around your tooth.

Swill with warm, salt water or a good mouthwash like Corsodyl.

Oh, and if you have an ulcer or have had one in the past, avoid Solpadeine and anything with aspirin in it
