Where are they all coming from! ! Just noticed in uk forum lots of peeps there having the same problem. My biggest nightmare

is there anything you can do to cut down numbers? ? Really don't like to kill them. . Have been known to hoover them up though when Mr s not around to rescue them and put them out * whereupon they instantly make their way to my bedroom laughing the basta...ermm little creatures they are *

Just seen a video on Facebook of a huge insect being removed from a guys ear in India...After watching that spiders would be the last thing you'd be afraid of

I heard peppermint spray along windows and doors...

It's no consolation but spiders in your home means it's well insulated cos they come in from the cold

My friend invested in some plug in electronic deterrent... would advise against them as she has been inundated with huge feckers in the last few weeks

around

Add up to 5 drops of essential oil and up to 5 drops of natural dish washing liquid to 1 l of water. The following essential oils work well as spider repellents (especially citrus):

Citrus

Tea tree

Lavender

Cinnamon

Peppermint

Citronella

Spray along skirting boards , door and window frames once a week.

Most spiders live outside but come inside for food. Fill all holes, cracks and gaps where they can get. Put horse chestnut or wallnuts in places where they usually are to deter them. Put some vingear and water mixed in a bottle n spray them on sight or give them a slap of the newspaper

I just got bitten by a huge spider.i put on my top,cud feel a spider at my forearm,no panic i like spiders,was shaking my arm with cuff of sleeve held open with other hand and he gets stuck around my wrist and bit me.stings like a good nettle sting and all red n itchy

Now I love animals. . Couldn't even hurt a spider .. Well except the hoovering bit. . But let them go at the other end of the fecking St at least
