is it just the height of bad manners, when you are asked for a facepic then immediately blocked after the message is read?

I totally accept that I could look like a bog beast, and people are attracted to different types but an immediate block is plain rude. A simple "sorry you're not my type " would do.

Problem is that you can't block back, so effectively they can unblock you at any stage and show your profile to their friends etc and re block you.

You can block back on the mobile app. Click into them and the menu still appears on the right. Scroll down... Block. On the desktop go into your block list and you can enter their username in a box to block back also.

Given the warnings about sending face pics I would be very careful.

People looking for face pics straight off are looking for attraction entirely skin deep. I presume if you are brad or Angelina they would be happy to meet you but I suspect that they will have dust between the ears because all they want are looks.

I'm all for no connection sex where the only attraction is visual. It's called porn!

How do you know id you are blocked. If I dont receive a reply , I dont bother to check if I am blocked. You can hardly expect someone to apologise for not wanting to meet. There are plenty of fish in the sea.

It happens. . Don't take it personally. .. Block them back so you don't interact again by mistake as it was simply rude.

Having said that I have be in the position of saying an extremely polite no only to get dogs abuse in response so it may be that they have too and that's they're way of dealing with it. Personally I prefer to be polite and say a polite no thanks. ... and no. . It's not purely on looks I might add! Then if they are abusive

I've blocked when I've received face pics but not when ive specifically asked for one....which I don't cos I won't send one here myself so think it'd be a bit rich to ask....

But so many guys send them on the first message it's unreal. Before I had pics up or got verified I was being sent face pics which I think is very careless and not clever at all

Yes you can there is a block option on the blue menu on the left when you attempt to look at their profile
