Have that lovely buzz on that you only get after 4 or 5, and am thinking what would this site be like if it was reversed! Meaning, if the single guys were getting up to 150 mails a day begging to meet and the women had to use their imagination . Be nice to be a chasee rather then a chaser! What ya think?

It's a myth that women get 'hundreds' of mail daily.

A lot.. yes and most of it one liners that are deleted.

That's why men write one line emails. We have to send 20 to get one reply. You can't really expect us to write 20 essays!

It takes quite a few emails to establish any kind of connection and normally the first email is just saying hi - I like your pic , profile, etc and I wwant to get to know you

Even If the ratio were reversed i.e. 10:1 female:male, i would hazard a guess men would still not receive as much mail from the women....

I'm not sure I agree with you, I have bulk deleted mails, but I'm far from rude. It's actually impossible sometimes to reply to every single mail, I reply to as many as I can, politely.

One wonan before wrote down all the names of abusive guys (to her) and put up a thread with their names... in the few hours the thread was up (before she got a 48hour ban) it gave most of the people on forum who knew her and trusted her judgement enough time to block them.

Every little helps. .. she took one for the team. RESPECT

I must not be that popular I don't get excessive amounts of abusive mail at worst it's 10% of what I receive and I most certainly don't get the amount of mail some seem to get . It's swings and roundabouts you have to take the good with the bad

but I'd like to think I'd never be rude to anyone

I get a lot of mail, mostly from ongoing chats with friends, but a lot requesting meets. I'd love a reality check filter, though.

Mine would be like this:

Do you live closer to France than to me?

Are all of your pics blurry and 6 show your bell end from slightly different angles?

When you say you both want to meet me, does your wife know about this?

Do you think anyone would want to meet you in a layby at 0500 when you finish work?

You have a fantasy about bareback and filling me with spunk? One of my fantasies is living long enough to be able to pretend I'm deaf just to annoy people. Do you think these fantasies are compatible?

I'd love this sort of tick list to pop up, it would cut down on a fair bit of new mail.

Either this was a very smart comment and men will stop messaging the ladies leaving the way clear for you to send messages with very little competition or very stupid as you gave away the secret

Hows this for a revolutionary idea. Instead of sending out blanket messages to tens of candidates or a n others. Try reading profiles. Seeing if maybe the person you are going to message is someone you would like to meet up with and taking some extra time to make it personal. Ok its not going to work everytime but at least you tried and would make the receiving party feel like more than just a pulse.
