What exactly is a verification please

Hi can someone clear up the subject of "verification" here on fab please.

Exactly what does this consist of:-

As in:-

I saw you both on a Camera

or

I met you both for a coffee / drink

or

I shagged ye both and ye were great!

And who verified the verified people!!! Confused

We have not been elevated to this esteemed status, but, just wondering, because someone could act fine over a coffee, and be a different person in private.. And after reading about that poor lady on tinder, I just was wondering what are peoples thoughts on this, and meeting privately.

Basically it just give you an idea that they are genuine people ( not fakes) and they have turned up to a meet .

I would say a verification is to verify that the person is whom they claim to be,ie,not a single bloke pretending to be a single lady or a mf couple,or in the very very rare occasion where a single lady pretends to be an amphibious landing craft(might happen,anything is possible).

Should folk wish to go into detail as to how the meet progressed,that's up to them,but to us the verification is to verify the profiler is who they say they are.

Well that's a relief! Thanks for that. So basically in short - A simple social meeting would suffice in fact. I must admit, I don't like the idea of someone one marking my card in the sack! Seems a bit crude.

There are different types of verifications.

1) Cam/Skype Etc just proves they are male or female.

2) social/coffee/drinks meet one on one arranged privately. Verifications usually indicate if they were genuine, turned up and appeared as they were in their pics.

3) Meet to play....... Can often me explicit and detailed. Majority state wether they had a good time and would meet again. Not too many have left negative comments (although the person can choose not to display these on their profile) there are on occasions subtle nuances in verifications (or things not said) that can indicate that they would not meet again.

4) M&G's/Parties...... Usually these verifications are just personal opinions formed on one or two brief meetings in a social setting. Majority will not have played together.

As to who has verified them........ Can come from any of the above scenarios or in some cases (not being too cynical) some people will have multiple profiles (although they will need at least one original verification) or also on occasions people will give 'meet' verifications but having only chatted here or on other social media chat apps like kik/viber/whatsapp having only exchanged pics or phone conversations.

OP as the owners of a very 'successful ' club in Limerick ...

I thought all your customers would be quhing up to verify ye .. At least a social meet veri !

. . . I would hope that this practice is not widespread cos firstly it makes it very unsafe for others who assume they are meeting verified people. . . And secondly it makes it more difficult for genuine unverified people to get that green tick from genuine verified members. . . .

Its basically meaningless but gives you an idea if the person will meet or not.
