Just looking there was wondering how would people feel about having more debates rather general chit chat threads and if so what kind off debates would interest you? I love the History and Politics ones myself.

I think they'd be interesting topics for here due to the variety of people etc

But you'd get given out to for it though. It not being banter, Lord forbid we talk about what's going on in the real world here

I agree. .. They usually have quite good debates in the English forum but here someone always gets a bit snippy or nasty. . So they all end up being a bit silly. .. mind you. . I'm a frequent contributer to silly. . Real life drama enough lol

Debates, politics, current affairs are all part of my real life, I come here to escape and talk about sex and kinks

The problem with online debates is that they always consist of arguments and points nicked from wiki or google.

In effect you end up with a cut and paste debate where people try to make themselves look intelligent but merely regurgitate old online information.

A pity because it would be really interesting ......fab is a broad church with many divergent views on life.

They've got some referendum or other going off up there. It seems to be something that is getting a lot of people excited.

Then you get a couple of members who join forces to try and vilify the person commenting.

I prefer to stick to my own band wagon rather than jump on someone else's.

Much easier in chat to debate than in here, easier to grasp people's personalities and know whether something is being said seriously or a little more tongue in cheek.

have sensible topical debates by all means but best practise fron other sites swinger and non swinger post pone debate betwen 10pm and 10am for obvious reasons.....also i belive in order to prevent to same trolls destroying the discussion a three strije rule should apply

Very very true. ... I know for a fact there's very few bad minded people here... we go on the rampage when we feel like someone is attacking us... in actual fact we're just disagreeing on stuff is all..

tone over text is really hard to convey, had many think I'm a nasty 'orrible cow when I just have a funny sense of humour really, I don't set out to be nasty to anyone, but sometimes I cannot resist a sarcastic comment or two, and yes I am aware that it is the lowest form of wit
