Meet and greet

First of all I have no experience in organising a meet and greet so I don't know if this would work, it's just an idea

Could you reserve a section in a pub for one as opposed to a hotel? So obviously it would just be a drinks and chat and if people want to hook up they can go back to their hotels? I assume most people who go to an m&g in a hotel don't actually stay there.

I have never been to one so I haven't a clue

Thoughts?

Really? I've seen forum posts where people have said they can't book hotel cos the venue was kept under wraps and was then fully booked

That's if the meet greet isn't in a hotel most are so the host gives u the name of hotel out wk or 2 it just all depends on whos running then tbh

I think if the pub has a big funiction room i would u can have a meet and great there but have a few hotels close as walking distince tothe meet and great from the hotels to the pub or bar ur having it at
