Any know what the story with people getting bans is? So many people I would have called friends getting lifetime bans for little or no reason.... Just think it's a bit unfair!

He didnt get a mail explaining why? He should contact admin then I guess.

Been posting in the forums a few years now, mostly read em and only post when I think its funny or relevant, now that's 'my funny'...but having read a lot and seen it all before I think the issue is that some just feel the need to comment all the time, its definitely more look at me I'm commenting, rather than engaging their grey matter and contributing.but for the record, several cheeky posts and lots of close to the mark comments, but no bans...so for me, the mods aren't an issue...it's often difficult to self analyse, but perhaps some should figure out if they are totally objective when running the rule over who's posts are offensive and whose aren't

Wondering what? If its about why one particular member has been banned then thats not going to be answered in the forums and if people keep insisting on it then the thread will probably end up being closed again.

If its about why people are banned in general then the only reason is because they broke the rules in some way.

A reminder again of the forum rules about disputing a specific mod decision...

Disputing admin or moderator decisions

The mods and site admin are all volunteers who try and keep the site safe. If you think they've made a specific mistake (and we accept that mistakes or mis-judgements do happen), the forum isn't the place to discuss it. Please contact Admin directly and we'll review and make right. If you have general feedback on site moderation or administration, you can post it to the site feedback forum but please ensure it's constructive criticism not personal critisim.
