Hey guys so the odd time I'm in the gym I wonder how do most people here keep fit other than sexercise....so the question is what do you like to do to keep fit?

Are you the runner, swimmer, weightlifter, body builder, crossfitter or the irregular gym user?

Let me know.

As for myself I love my bit of crossfit let me hear from the rest

I'd squat 60kg I go heavy enough and do 12s on my shoulders

I'm more of a circuits and free weights for strength and conditioning girl. .. But it's all cross fit now

dead lift 80kg.... but Only just survive the cross fit ... To fast and competitive!

high intensity circuit training is best for toning and killing the extra calories off. however working out to look good is mostly useless if the diet isn't right so you wont get good results

Run 5 days a week: 5x (minimum 10k)

Weights 3x wk

General upper body workouts 3x wk

Rest weekends!

Weights 3 times a week and boxing one day. Agreed, hitting a pb is the best feeling, mine are:

Squat: 140 for 5 reps

Deadlift: 170 for 1 rep

Bench: 85 for 2 reps

Try throwing in some OHP and that bench should start to fit in with the rest of those numbers.

I know your pain. Shoulders are always a tough one. They progress slow and stall often, usually sooner than anything else. Not to mention the possible injuries you can get. It's a nightmare of a joint!

Rest is as important to getting strong and fit as actually exercising is. Pushed too hard 6 months ago without giving myself sufficient rest and ended up injuring myself. 6 months on I haven't hit the gym since, instead I've been following a pretty intense regime of yoga. I've never felt better in my own body! Gonna wait until the summer is over to start hitting the gym again and getting some PR's. Gonna clean bulk then until next Spring.

Gym isn't for everyone, 20 mins a day at home would keep you in fairly good shape!

I run... I used to do a fair amount of weights in the gym... But i have swapped doing weights to swimming i find it more enjoyable.. But in saying that i do some weights but very minor.. I also go wall climbing. I would like to try out boxing at home but i have no where to hang a boxing bag... And i have been offered one for free..
