.you were lucky.turf is getting scarce like hens teeth.goverment closing up bogs,and bogs cut out.much left in kildare?the hme of bog machinery manafacture KH.

100 euros a bin,which does 12 sods 100 yards long.want to wear a lose trouser faceing into to foot that .no hourly rate with us

got 2 hours cutting done this year... that will do nearly 2 winters burning... but it depends how many pipes on the machine too...

4 rows of as you say 12 pipes on machine,is 400 euros.thats plenty for a house hold for year .thats our charge.never heard tell of a hourly rate.were 100 per row of the 12 sod(pipe)machine.

Never seen anyone round here Kim, occasionally in a lay-by you might see a van selling turf. Anything that could possibly cause a broken nail falls within Mr's bailiwick.
