Any inspirational or poignant quotes for the day?

I like this one by Marilyn Monroe

"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together."

You don't love someone for their looks, or their clothes, or for their fancy car, but because they sing a song only you can hear. Oscar Wilde.

“Music has always been a matter of Energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed Fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio.”

I like this one too (sorry in a reflective mood today)

"Just because something isn't a lie does not mean that it isn't deceptive. A liar knows that he is a liar, but one who speaks mere portions of truth in order to deceive is a craftsman of destruction."

Bangor, Norn Iron

A.A.Milne had some great ones, via his good friend Whinny The Pooh...

'Promise me you'll always remember. You're braver than you believe and stronger than you seem and smarter than you think'

'Weeds are flowers too, once you get to know them'

Piglet: 'How do you spell Love?'

Pooh: 'You don't spell it, you feel it'

'The things that make me different are the things that make me.'

'Don't underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can't hear, and not bothering'

... If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.

... If the person you are talking to doesn't appear to be listening, be patient. It may simply be that he has a small piece of fluff in his ear.

... You can't stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.

Make the most of what you have where you are.

I first heard this years ago and never forgot it. It's a simple one but it's a good mindset to have when trying to solve problems I believe.
