Cheese and jam

Having wheaten bread with jam and cheese for lunch. My work colleague thinks it's a weird food combo! I didn't think it that weird but I've always liked sweet and sour combos like pineapple on pizza (sacrilege to most people I know) and when I waz a kid I loved prawn cocktail crisps and mars bar!!

Any strange foodie choices you like?

Sweet and savoury combos are good. I like fruit in my curry and chocolate with my tayto but never heard of jam with cheese. I'm not sure on that one. Any particular jam and cheese. Have you tasted cranberry cheese that's nice. When we were kids my sister used to eat salted banana sandwiches yuck

Oh you should try it Kim, on a cracker. White crumbly cheese like a Wensleydale or Caerphilly with raspberry or cherry jam.

"Having wheaten bread with jam and cheese for lunch.

Just remembering that I was told last night that someone doing silage had been served Ham and jam sandwiches?!! think that's a step too far even for me!! "
