i think the site admins can help this by disabling the right click option in the site another well known site had this option when i was on it years ago and u cant save images from the site and ppl should be water marking their pics too and not just in one part but all over them. think you your security/privacy while online folks

Does that stop 'screengrabs' as well?"

thats what the watermarks will help with theres no 100% safe way but just make it tough for them to steal and repost on other sites

I don't get how some ppl put up pics with their face showing on public view. Obviously they feel they have nothing to hide and have already 'come out' and told the world they swing. Some of us are not so brave

Don't think it's anything to do with hiding just wouldn't want someone taking my pictures and using them else where where people may think it's actually me.

Disabling right click is no protection at all....there are loads of free programs, that allow you not just to screen grab but select and save any picture. Webcams can very easily be recorded too....

It's all down to what you have to lose, over what you have to gain, by posting/sending pics

If you see someone's nicked your photo, report them. Admin do chase it.

Its such a pity about this. This was one of the best threads on the whole of fab you had going. It was a great icebreaker. I'd love to see it continue but you'd need to safe guard against stuff like this maybe have a list of people in the forum and only photo verifued and verified people. I'd never give my photo to someone non verified if they asked. I was having great chats with people. It wasn't about thinking "oh she's good looking now i definitely want to meet" it was more about putting a face to people i would regularly talk to in the forums... even though all the women who sent me pics are extremely beautiful

you can get around the screen shot option.

a diagonal watermark is the best choice for deterring people. make it big so you people cant photoshop or crop it out

The idea of watermarks on the pics is brilliant. But not everyone would be able to do that. Maybe the site could Auto Watermark any pics up loaded?
