After chatting with a few peeps last nt it was mentioned and suggested some would love a party with no alcohol

Just wondering people's thoughts/opinions on this one

Why if you don't mind me asking?

Surely you can have alcohol at a party and not drink it if you don't want to? When I'm out for a night I'm usually driving home, and no-one has ever forced drink into me..... sadly lol

As I'm usually the driver to meets (Ms Slut cant drive) and as Ms. Slut is currently not drinking, we're usually sober for all our meets, so a non alcohol party doesn't bother us in the slightest, in fact it's almost preferable.

now, if there was a little cheech & chong at that party I certainly wouldn't complain!

If drink is required then the heart probably isn't in it, but as long as no one overdoes it then a glass or 2 doesn't hurt.

Yes most agreed a glass or 2 was perfectly fine but it was only a suggestion of a couple said they were going to consider one with none so just curious as to opinions

The problem at most parties is ppl get too wrapped up in drinking and leaves very little time for fun, thats my experience anyway

Yeah, was at a party once, arrived at 8.30 and the fun didnt start until 3am and most were that d*unk it wasnt much fun

as we dont drink much and we do have to drive a non alcohol party would suit us fine as we do feel that too much time is lost drinking and chatting at parties

yes thats a great idea ..we do drive to meets to where we cant stay overnight...so it can be a bummer if everyone else is a bit tipsy

I've not been to many parties, but i do think it's a great idea to have a non alcoholic one. Yes we're all adults, but not everyone knows when to stop, and i believe there's a bit of a safety issue especially where single women are concerned, when they've had too much to drink and don't really know what's going on.

Absolutely! Some of my best swinging parties I've been sober for. I rarely drink much at them as a general rule but have stuck to soft drinks many times.

I've been wanting to go to a sober party for years. Some people don't know their limits and need to stay away from booze fully I believe. Personally I've plenty of self control so getting twisted is not what I'm involved in the scene for.

Sex is my drug of choice baby!!! ( I feel a status update coming on!! )

There is very much a drink culture within swinging and parties in particular. Anyone who knows me, knows I like a drink and love parties...so here's my tuppence worth.

If first timers are nervous about a party, I always tell them to treat it as a party first and foremost, with the opportunity of play as an added bonus. So in that respect, for most, you expect to have a drink at a party. Drink in itself isn't the issue.....drinking to excess is though. I hope/think that when I drink to excess, I still retain my manners and respect for others eg at a recent party when the female half of a couple was sitting alone on a sofa, I asked did she mind if I sat beside her.....basic manners and respect for her personal space.

Most problems at parties are drink related too....people forget about boundaries....both their own and others and that's where Swinging parties differ from ordinary parties. Blurred lines you might call it.......

Anyhow....i'm rambling. Would I attend an alcohol free party.....most definitely.

Ive been to some parties and drink has ruined it for people. The fun didnt really kick off until all hours and it got very messy. I've given up drink a few months back to concentrate on my training and i feel great for it. I know it relaxes people but a nice cup of tra and a chat really puts me at ease now when a meet someone...and makes me hornier

No alcohol party would be great. Most of the best parties I attended hat very little alcohol involved. But the worst experience was linked to too much alcohol.
