If you want to know who is going ask the organiser. They will tell you if they want you to know, if not you will have to wait and see.

If its in the meets section then I'd say its OK to mention it.. but I would ask the organizers for any more info you need rather than here. Best to assume discretion is required if you aren't sure.

If we are attending 'play' events we will often ask the organisers who is going (so we can see who we might fancy), and let them choose to share this info or not.
