Tonight I'm sipping a Wild Turkey - Rare breed with a splash of water

Aside from that red wine .. Something deep, rich and velvety .. Syrah-Grenache, Shiraz, Rijoa ..

On your above concoction Miss Downgirl, the addition of a few crushed cardamom pods and a thimble of honey makes a rather lively cocktail ..

Your in house "mixologist"

As said on the other thread, I'm a little bit to common for you. Mines normally ice cold Stella straight from the tin, and if I'm pushing the boat out a wee Bush and Coke

"Claret is the liquor for boys; port for men; but he who aspires to be a hero must drink brandy."
said someone.

I drink gin though....

"The most dangerous drink is gin. You have to be really, really careful with that. And you also have to be 45, female and sitting on the stairs.

Because gin isn't really a drink, it's more a mascara thinner. "

Like a good pint of Guinness...but when eating I like either a Dry White Wine possibly Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc or if Red a Shiraz like Lindeman's Bin 50. If on the spirits I mainly drink Morgans Spiced n Coke or Ginger Beer although I have been know to test the odd Whisky here and there.
