Location services? Help please

Hi all I've upgraded to being a site supporter and thought Id put on the ' who's near me' gizmo on the mobile app but I keep being told it can't find my location. I have location services turned on on my phone but have no idea why it's not picking me up. Any suggestions/ advice? Am I just a dummy doing something simple wrong? Thanks guys
