Does it get quieter on here during the summer months what with holidays abroad and kids off school etc...??

I personally think its slowing down a bit already....

I would imagine activity on the site is the same all year round. However i do think the forum activity has lessened in the last few weeks but I doubt its a seasonal reason.

there are definitely more threads than ever. I can't keep up at all anymore.

I'm not sure though if the number of total posts have increased? Because I find too, that even with more threads things are a bit slow. Maybe it's just me being slow

Ah that's what you meant, should have said

The forums evolve. People come and go. Some go and come back under numerous profiles. Some post to every thread, others pick the ones that interest them.

Look back through the archives and see who is still posting from the start, very few. ( I am, I used to be someone else )

I hear on here a lot of times, people have stopped posting, like it's the fault of those still posting. But that's how forums work, all of them, people come and go, some stay longer then others
