Policy on Face Pics??

What do people feel about this.?

Regarding sending face pics. If your about to ask for face pic would you think its common courtesy to send one to begin with along with the request.?

OR

If you are asked for a face pic, do you think they should send one first.

I mean is it just me or should the person who asks be the first to send one??

i dont mind sending face pics first,but if sumone sent me a face pic first and i wasnt keen on them i dont see the point of sending one bak or vice versa

If you are going to ask for it in the course of messages yes you should send one with the request.

If it's on a profile and it states quite clearly that messages should be sent with first message then no they don't need to send one. If the person messaging doesn't want to send a pic move on to the next profile

I was recently sent a first message with a face pic and was asked to send one back which i decelined.after a few mails i will send one but not if its demanded

Never ask for one cause we couldn't careless, we would rather just chat awhile then a social. If someone sends us one we always send one back if we send one we don't expect one back. We don't go by looks we never have and never will.

I only send one if we are talking about meeting and have been chatting abit...dont hand them out willy nilly lol...if someone chooses to send one in their first message then thats up to them...but i dont like being pressured to do it...makes me even more reluctant...and people who feel face pics are such a big deal are not really people i want to meet tbh....

Yea, attraction is important to most people on here so I can understand people sending them right off the bat... but its mainly people you speak to for a while, and they ask for a face pic...I mean it would only make sense that if your gonna ask then send one in good confidence you know!

if i was chatting with sumone and i wanted to see a face pic usually i wud send one first but if they sent one and i didnt fancy them then i wudnt send one bak,dont see the point if theres no attraction,i wudnt be offended if they didnt send me one bak either

if I wasnt attracted to you I'd message you to say thanks but not for us. If I'm not attracted to you we're not going to meet...so I think that's fairer than stringing someone along. We would never just ignore or blank people though.

I don't want the site to tell me when and when not I should send a face pic by putting up rules about it.

I use my own judgement when the right time is.

If asked I send one. I'd like one in return I suppose.

I have been politely told I'm not someone's type and that's fine.

At the end of the day we are here for fun and if someone or any person isn't attracted to me I'm not overly concerned as I'm sure there would be people who are and vice versa.

But politeness and humility goes a long on both sides..

Ha this issue has just cropped up for me again just there now!!

Newbie profile had been chatting to a few times asked me to send one, I declined as said but Irish of them as they are not long on here and say don't send face pics And are not verified in any way SO I get branded a FAKE in capital letters.
