Probably the biggest turn off imaginable. In day to day scenarios I can understand it as people are busy rushing around and might be completely unaware but in a meet situation it must be one of the first things you think of! Thankfully in my case it was just a coffee meet but needless to say no matter what was on offer I just couldn't run the risk and end up in a very awkward situation. Any horror stories?

Was severely hungover one day but a coffee meet planned and never like to let anyone down so went along.

As soon as we met I apologized profusely for my state and was very conscious that my breath may have smelled so was chewing gum wwhile sipping coffee - vile combination I know!!!

Anyway got on nicely, headed back to work afterwards, soon got a msg asking to meet properly. I declined politely saying I felt no sexual chemistry. His reply was 'there was an icky smell off you anyway'

and I was promptly blocked

Ok I accept that under the circumstances but why ask to meet me then? Desperate?

She's not. It's not nice to be put in an awkward position like that either way. It can happen to anyone in daily life but people shouldn't actively get into a meeting situation, particularly with someone they may not have met before.

An apology and at least making the effort to chew some gum makes it a lot easier to handle in my eyes. I don't think I'd wanna meet someone who used the word icky in such a childish manner anyway, you dodged a bullet

As I'm a smoker I carry mints and gums all the time.. So I hope I get no complaints..

Even tho I'm a smoker, smell of smoke off someone's breath is never sexy..

bad breath is a total turn off!even if he was the hottest man alive and i had a bottle of cb12 i just cudnt!

Worked with a girl that had to be told by HR about her BO and bad breath. Everybody complained and couldnt work with her. She wenton leave for 4 weeks eventually came back.

Was a tough time for all

I dislike any bad breath it makes me think of someone having a dirty mouth. Talking of horror meets a friend of mine met a woman who's false teeth fell out onto the ground and she quickly shoved them back in her mouth.

Needless to say he made his excuses and left.

You have to watch where them teeth have been LOL

Breath I can take, once had a rather unpleasant odour that took two days to remove from my fingers. I was followed everywhere by a flock of seagulls and all the cats from the area gathered in my garden. It was rank, thank The Lord it was a quick meet and I didn't get a chance to go down. Considered chopping them off
