So I've had an idea, just an inkling of one, and I thought I would fire it your way to see what you thought.

Given that unverified people find it hard to get verified, then I was thinking of arranging a M&G for the purpose solely of getting unverified m/f/cpls verified.

What I would need to know is...

Would verified people be willing to come and act as verifiers

Are there enough unverified people who will show up to make this worthwhile.

Was thinking of Belfast, maybe for a few hours in the afternoon and run it a bit like a coffee morning with a buffet etc so we don't have to worry about licensing...

As I said before, *just* an idea at present. I know all of you will say 'no-one will show up' but if you have any other thoughts please share them.

I'd discourage this because I don't want the verifiers being pressured into verifying or looking over their shoulder while they did it. I'll figure out some way of people being able to make notes as they go..

This is exactly what happened on the girls only night out! Vickihubby organised a night (that i was at) and lollipop organised another. People were meeting as real people and having a giggle about fab profiles. Matching people up with their profile was part of the fun!! A lot of the girls had been chatting on-line, and it was lovely to put names to faces. I even met my first (and only...so far) meet as a result of this night.

Everyone has their own reasons for joining fab....ive done parties/m&g/socials/tea/cofee/wine/and one on ones...and enjoyed all of them yes it is a swinging site... but there is no harm people finding their feet and joining in what feels right for them...the idea is for verified people to verify other non verified....

How is getting verified at a situation that longbow is suggesting any different to a normal meet and greet where vary majority are already verified?

Also to me, I only use them to see if person is who they say they are in pics and that the likelihood of them turning up is vastly increased. Another persons opinion on how good they are in bed is of no use to me I prefer to go for gut instinct on my impression of then via their messages and in person when I meet them

It's called a social meet and a lot of us swinger do them rather than jump straight into bed. I don't count meeting people at a meet and greet or a club as the true representation only a social meet can do that. Meeting someone in a club situation or party situation is not a true or accurate portrayal of a person as when we go out we dress up and become the party person not the normal person I want to meet. I am a swinger and like my fun but club situations are not for everyone, there are the more discreet who would rather have a coffee and chat

Tbh everything has a flaw,going by your threads etc and reports you run your club very well but here's a flaw,

I'm a psychopath (tho not really)

I just read the opening post by OP..verificstions is a way of helping members trust in meeting people. A M&G like this may lead to verifications being given too cheaply. You go to a big do like this and it can be easy to be someone else for short periods of time and get cheap veri's by doing the rounds. Verifications currently are given by meeting one on one for the vast majority. It's hard to keep up an act over messaging, coffee meet and then a fun meet. My concern for this type of thing is...the verifications os a trust thing built up between fabbers after good ground work and conversing has occurred. This event would cheapen the trust that I would have in such verifications.

The thing us, verifications are for me just one tool to be used in deciding whether to have a fun meet. As said earlier it increases the chance that they will turn up for a one to one. So in this case I think if you use a persons verifications from a source like this the way verifications are meant(imo) to be used it shouldn't be an issue. If I seen someone who had turned up to this it wouldn't put me off meeting them separately but I would still probably do a social meet first and then based on that and my gut instinct decide whether to take it further

Just an observation, I've no interest in coming to your club, but surely someone who works/runs a business in the "hospitality sector" only does themselves damage by being confrontational? Surely that's how your business will thrive, by being hospitable to potential guests instead of excluding/ostracsising potential punters. Like I say just my observations

Yolo my first post stated I have no interest in going to the club, I live in the north so miles away anyway, I was making a simple observation on the profile who runs the club's interaction with potential customers is all wrong. Seems like they have scores to settle with certain people which in turn puts potential guests off going

My observation was that duffer was saying that ikandi was not being very nuetral in its comments. In fact was he not suggesting ikandi comments where confrontational? Which to me they were. Comments that come across arrogant and misguided elitist. I would certainly not entertain such a pretentious club.

I have warmed to the M & G idea having read the full thread.i think it could be a great success. I wish you well with the organisation OP.
