hi, a friend of mine who has left fab has been contacted by an ex who has threatened to go to her work and folks with intimate pics and knowledge that she was on fab.

I told her to go guards and seek an order against him.

has anyone any similar experience and if so, could you offer advice?

thanks

A solicitor won't write a letter based on something that was verbally said between two parties. They've a better chance going to the guards.

The guards can't really do anything.

Unless threatened .

True...here say means nothing....has to be solid evidence...either recorded or written...

And you need it to happen on more than one occasion for it too be classed as harassment.

Ah lads I went thru this last year. Husband of a lady I was seeing on here found out about her meets and made me life hell for 2 mths. I changed profile and phone and deleted Facebook he knew everything.

Long story short I got no help from the guards. Even with showing them text and recorded phone calls cause he wasn't threatening my life just threatening to post my pics to my home and work.

Only way I got sorted was meeting him outside his house with a good few friends for a chat.

It was scary how much info him found out about me.

Really hope they get sorted.

Big lesson learned.
