I think fab would be a lot better place and safer for all us genuine folk if you could not hide verifications, bit like trip advisor, pros and cons I'm sure....what do ye think....?

When I rejoined I had 6 people leave me verifications - all of whom I never met and never chatted to! It was because I had left a status asking for people to reveri me who I had met before!!

So for that reason alone I would say no to veri's being public

My veri's had hidden as its my private business who I've met. As for pro's and con's....there's hardly any con's you know that dont you?

Well said its no ones business who you meet and in my opinion some people are very private and don't feel the need to broadcast. Good for you

Having said that veries are all we hav to go on in terms of spotting fakes.I wudnt really engage much with someone with none.or sus lookin profile with hidden veries.iv never had no show by stickin to that

I have not come across the same, I've had no shows from people with veris and some of them had quite a few

i think it is an individual choice.

it really is no one's business who meets who.

Sometimes i show mine and sometimes i don't.

lot of nosey parkers on here just looking for gossip as well.

That shows unfortunately what verifications are real worth .. there was last year something about guys, who left verifications as a favor, if girls asked for . I trust in a phone call

Hal .. best is it, at an special progress of the things, to ring the woman .. to make definitely sure, she is really a woman ... whether she is reliable to come to a meeting is a other thing ..

i have been sent a verification by someone i never even knew and asked me to do the same.

A lot of fakes verify each other and multi profiles do the same.

it really pisses me off when you cant do anything about it except REPORT.

They still on here and still doing it.

Personally I much prefer verifications are shown. I'm always hesitant of unverified and most especially if they're members for some time.

If I'm chatting to someone I will check if they are verified. I will then check on their verifications to see if those people are themselves verified. You come across spoofers verifying eachother etc so I use my gut on deciding if people are legitimate or not.

If verifications are hidden then i can't do any research (for want of a better word). If they are hidden its better for me if the numbers are 8 or more as its less likely to be a spoofer. But only a few verifications and hidden and I'm hesitant...

My opinion anyway.

I have my veris hidden been on fab nearly 2 yrs..but have only 3 veris....and I am far from a spoofer

I show mine, not cos i am a show off or cos i wanna tell the whole world who i fuck, it's my personal choice and i show them so people get an idea on the person i am , i could not care less if people do or don't, who cares really?

ive met people that havent verified me its thie choice,,i have also met couples that have asked to be discreet for reasons i know,,people treat verifications like trophies,,best way to network is to do the groundwork goto meets when you say you do try not to cancel if you do do it with good timing and grace,,,people who meet you will like you with or without verifcatons if you have half a brain a decent perosnality and you have given yourself a decent scrub with a face cloth

Verifs are a way of showing people what you are like....as put into words by someone else and can be useful for that reason.

Why I don't like verifs being hidden, is the plethora of 'new' profiles that pop up and receive a verification within the first hour, which remains hidden?? To me that stinks of a false profile and is something I think admin should address.

I don't really buy the 'it's no one's business but mine' argument but that's people's choice.

I dont show the verifications cause i have experienced in the past people wont meet cause you have met other people. I like too keep my business to myself and dont like telling anyone who i am with. Anyway i dont think anybody would write a bad verification so it would be silly to meet anyone based on their veri's !!!!! I judge them for myself and know whether or not theres a click. So far it seems to work just fine

I only show mine as it proves we do meet when we say we will...especially with party invites as it shows we are not wasters...have toyed with the idea of hiding them tbh...as it is our business...but i suppose it gives a slight insight into who your meeting...but nothing beats the real thing....

It best to be upfront, an let others make their own mind up of who you been with. as it indicates who you are prepared to go with and to what extremes etc. So others know what to expect a little. We think friends list is a good indicator too.

They should ban web cam verifications,meet and greet verifications,coffee meet verifications. When you play you earned it,up until then,zero. But who our meets are,who our friends are,that's up to us what we show, it's a swing site, not a ego filler.

I have done exactly the same.

Check out who verified them. Check out who verified them etc. And you can always almost certainly find people you've seen around the forums etc. Who are genuine.

But also sometimes they are a bit too much. Like to be honest I know what type of site this is and all but come on I don't need to know it was the sweetest tasting pu$$*

Or she ( or he for that matter suck like a hoover )

For me that lacks a little respect. Say they are gorgeous and sexy and you had a great time but a little less detail

The choice is yours, I guess that's why the option is there

I will if asked, display them

I really like the new thing showing the meets on the left hand side. At least now when people leave the site, you have that as verification proof.

As for the fakes, well that's the downside of a free site. I do however believe you should be photo verified in the 1st seven days minimum or face deletion but as we all know that would affect the real numbers.. members wise.

It's simple.. take pic of your face with your username and fabswingers.com displayed on a piece of paper

verified !!

I'm saying minimum requirements .. if you get verified by meeting in the first 7 day that's cool too and your a lucky fuc.. fabber
